All of the tutorials on this page involve mixed media or printmaking. Mixed media in art refers to the use of two or more compatable meidums in an artwork.  Not all media will work well together.  Undertaanding the relationships between different types of drawing and painting media will lead to stronger and more successful works of art.  The lessons here focus on the use of multiple mediums in a work.
